Curriculum

  • Core Courses: Covering areas such as Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Health Policy and Management, and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
  • Concentration-Specific Coursework: Students choose from a wide range of concentrations, including but not limited to Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences; Biostatistics; Environmental Health; Epidemiology; Global Health; Health Policy and Management; and Health Care Management.
  • Applied Practice Experience (APE): A supervised, hands-on practicum that allows students to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world public health setting.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following general requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • GRE scores are optional for most MPH programs at RSPH.

Application Process

The application process for the Emory MPH program is primarily conducted through the Schools of Public Health Application Service (SOPHAS), supplemented by an Emory-specific application:
